Can I use a CNC 3020 router on Linux with a USB to parallel cable to mill PCBs?

Can I use a CNC 3020 router on Linux with a USB to parallel cable to mill
PCBs?

I'm not sure if this is the right place for this question, but I'm hoping
someone here has been in the same situation. I want to start milling PCBs.
The CNC 3020 router looks awesome but I'm not sure if it's compatible with
Linux/Ubuntu.
I'm also going to need to buy a USB to parallel adapter as my computer
doesn't have a parallel port built in.
Has anyone ever used a CNC 3020 router on Linux with a USB to parallel
cable? Has it worked okay?
